We have completed the fit-out of the temporary pharmacy for Quirkes of Clonmel. This is the client for our certfied Passive House Pharmacy and Apartment building in Clonmel. They have now vacated their premises in order for works to commence. We worked with the client to design the fit-out of the temporary premises which will be used for 12 months whilst the original building is re-developed.
The design had to meet Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland’s requirements for pharmacy licencing. PMN architecture ensured the works complied with Building Regulations and Planning requirements.
The project was low-budget, given the temporary nature of the works, and used some of the furniture and fittings of the original pharmacy. This, and the need to avoid a break in service during relocation, meant the entire stock and some shelving had to be moved from one premises to the other between shut down on Saturday evening and new shop opening on Monday morning. C&C Woodcraft were the contractors and handled it very well.
